What IS HR About?

Here I was discovering or if you prefer uncovering the richness of HR. My husband thinks that our children are his "true angels" and I trust he means "guiding line, safeguard". Over time I have discovered that children can be a true inspiration, a pool of skills waiting to bloom, a richness that we "adults" do not always realize. Imagine how rich parents of many chidren can be: a multitude of skills within reach! And what about HR? Isn't that what HR is about? We (The Organization through HR) have the richness of so many people, talents, guides, skills: Human Resources potentials that we often misunderstand, underutilize,  ignore or disregard.

HRM : No more policing. All about Partnering

Of course, there are the few who have a big ego or a low self-esteem (the manifestation is the same) who are going to try to antagonize whoever crosses their paths, but overall people feel comfortable talking to you, or even confiding in you because you are approachable to them.    Through many encounters, most of them casual, I could see, discern and feel how people care about their jobs and working environment.
